What is Colon Hydrotherapy
Colonic hydrotherapy, also known as a Colonic, is a gentle cleanse of the large intestine using purified water. West Coast Center for Regenerative Medicine Uses a state-of-the-art FDA and Health Canada approved closed system device using a 3 stage filteration system with uv light and temperature-controlled water.
A colonic is the safe process of removing accumulated fecal matter, mucus, sludge and toxic build-up in colon by gently rinsing the colon with warm water.
When these impurities cannot be eliminated from the body, the colon tries to absorb them and toxins can be absorbed into the bloodstream which can impact a person's health. This build up can also compromise your bowel’s ability to eliminate many different toxinc including toxic metals, excess hormones, and metabolic waste by-products. Having an accumulation of mucous or biofilm in the colon can have a negative effect on the gut microbiome and immune function.
How it works
The client lies on a table connected to a Colon Cleansing device, wearing disposable shorts and with new disposable speculum and hoses, while water gently circulates into the colon. When slight pressure builds up in the colon, the water can release. As water is flowing out through an illuminated glass viewing tube, the client can view their elimination.
By using warm filtered temperature controlled water introduced in the colon, the waste is softened and loosened, resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis. The process is repeated a few times during the session. Colon Hydrotherapy is often referred to as colon irrigation, colon therapy or colonics
