Although we will be reviewing fundamentals of IV therapy, this course will be intended for healthcare practitioners that are permitted to perform intravenous therapies and should be familiar with the basics of administering injections.
Didactic will include intravenous therapy safety, nutrient compatibilities and incompatibilities, and industry trends.
There will be hands-on training and opportunities to practice preparation of IV bags, initiation of IV nutrient administration and troubleshooting of common issues that arise during the administration of IV therapy.
